Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
What is a tarot reading?
A tarot reading is a practice where the tarot reading practitioner uses a deck of 78 cards to gain insight into a person's past, present and future influences. The client asks questions regarding their areas of concern, and the tarot reader will interpret the meanings of the cards to provide guidance for the client. A client receives guidance, self-discovery and clarity when the cards are read for them.
Do I need to have questions for my tarot reading?
A good tarot reading requires good intentions. These intentions come in the form of questions. Are you seeking clarity for a particular situation? Do you feel like you are stuck and have been hitting roadblock after roadblock when trying to reach your goals? Do you need to make a big decision and want to know what options are available to you? Having questions allows you to participate in your reading and empowers you. The more you participate in your reading, the better the reading for you.
Are you psychic, or are you just a tarot reader?
Both. I use my knowledge of the tarot cards (what each card means, symbols), my ability to see patterns in tarot card readings and my ability to retrieve messages from your spiritual guides. My ability to use aura also plays a part in my readings.
How can I tell if a tarot reader is any good before I purchase a reading from them?
Tarot reading is an art form that blends intuition, knowledge of the tarot cards, symbolism, and numerology, and this makes it inherently subjective. However, there are ways to find out if a tarot reader suits you:
Recommendations: ask for recommendations from friends. Most of my clients are recommended by their friends.
Website: Many tarot readers have their own website that explains their services and rates. A tarot reader's website/blog is useful to find out what type of readings they give.
There are professional associations, such as the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (or IPHM), that have listings of tarot readers that they have accredited and certified.
How accurate are your readings?
The future has never been "carved in stone". The tarot reading should give you information on your journey and the patterns that you find yourself in. If the patterns are not working for you, how can you break them? The future is always changing, and the things we do affect the future. The cards can give us information on how the outcome of a situation will play out. If the client does not like the outcome, the tarot card reader can find messages in the cards to help their client. It is very important the client understands they have the power in their life's journey. Life can be challenging, but we have the power to make our own decisions. There are things we can not control, such as the weather and what other people do and think, but we can make choices on how we deal with these challenges.
In my previous tarot reading, you mentioned I would meet someone new, but it hasn't happened. Why?
In your previous reading, perhaps there was a potential outcome for a new person to come into your life. This outcome depends on a "shift in your energy", or maybe you had to take care of a few things before this would happen. In order for you to gain something, you have to make things happen for yourself. Life doesn't just happen; you have to make things happen, and the messages in the tarot readings give you this advice.
What is the most important thing to remember when going for a tarot reading?
The most important thing to remember is not to be scared during a reading. Tarot cards are not meant to be frightening. They contain beautiful art and beautiful meanings on life's journey.

Do you teach people how to read tarot?
Yes. I sometimes take on coaching individual readers and am available to teach upon request.
Do you do spells?
No. Life is not that easy. We manifest by doing the work we need to do in this life. We can make choices that bring in positive people and energy that affect our goals and our journey. The journey we have in life is our own, and the more we learn about ourselves and the world, the more navigating life's challenges becomes interesting instead of daunting.
Do I need to book an appointment for a tarot reading?
Yes! The contact form is on the Home page of this website. You need to contact me via email for an appointment. We can then set up a day and time that works for both of us. I will email you a PayPal invoice.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. I usually don't take walk-ins.
Do you do online readings, and how does that work?
Yes, I do online readings. I use WhatsApp to do readings online. You need to have WhatsApp open on your device. With the phone number you provide me, I will call you for your reading. Online readings are wonderful for clients who are not able to physically visit me for their reading. I will use a singing bowl to clear to raise our energetic connection so that you can connect with the cards.
I have had a reading with you and want to book another reading. How long should I wait?
I would love to have another reading with you and find out how things worked out. How often you see me is up to you. I never tell a client to book another appointment; however, if you do enjoy readings, I tell people to wait at least 3-4 months in between readings. Live and enjoy your life!
Can I record my reading?
I allow my clients to voice-record my readings.
Can you tell me what someone else is thinking?
Maybe, but I won't. Reading others without their permission is called "psychic spying". Psychic spying is rude and has consequences. It is better to focus on your part of the relationship. The most important relationship you have is the relationship you have with yourself. Tarot readings are great for self-discovery, in which you gain insight into your own character and how you affect the relationships you have with the people around you.
How do I know if a tarot reader is scamming me?
It's unfortunate that there are charlatans in the world who will take advantage of people. I have heard some terrible stories of clients paying thousands of dollars to have "curses" removed from their lives. It makes me furious that the beautiful art of tarot card reading is used to scam people. So, buyer beware! Here are some signs of a scammer:
The reading is cheap. The cheaper the reading, the easier it is to be impulsive and purchase a reading without intention. A reading should be purchased with an intention. In other words, you have questions. Tarot readings should be planned. A good tarot reader wants you to book an appointment and come prepared with questions.
The tarot reader needs to look up the card meanings in a book or a cheat sheet. A professional reader should never have to refer to a book or notes in order to read the cards. If the tarot reader is an amateur or is learning the art of tarot reading, this would be fine as long as you are aware that this is the case.
The tarot reader is telling you that you and/or your family have been cursed, and you need to pay extra money to have all the curses removed. This is a scam, and it could be fraud.
You are being frightened and/or threatened during the reading. I would never want my clients to feel frightened. If you are intimidated or frightened because you are not giving in to demands for more money, get up and walk away!
You feel pressured into purchasing repeat readings. This is a sign of a scam artist.
The tarot reader solicits you by "creeping in". Don't get lured by unsolicited messages in your email, social media or voicemail. Scammers can leave you a message that there is "something important waiting for you" or "you have an important message that needs your urgent attention", and you urgently need to purchase their service.
